MADE IN CALIFORNIA: ART, IMAGE, AND IDENTITY 1900-2000

The largest exhibition ever presented by the museum, it addresses the interplay between the arts in California and the state's evolving image over the past century.  The Luebtow piece selected by the museum is a 9 feet tall glass, steel. and steel cable form completed after the riots in LA entitled "April 29,1992 ."
